The Asus Zenfone 3S Max is a Decent Smartphone that comes with a big 5000 mAh battery and still it is only 8.85mm thick.Let’s check out will it be a Good buy or not at the price of ₹14,999.

The Asus Zenfone 3s Max comes with a full metal Body that looks Quite Decent with the fingerprint scanner on the home button itself. It has rear camera and Dual Flash at the Top left side on the back panel. We Received the Gold one and it Looked quite well with it’s Metal Body and 2.5D Glass. It has the Power and Volume buttons on the Right side of the Device With the Audio Jack on the top Charging jack and Speakers at the Bottom the Device and the device weighs only 175g despite of its 5000 mAh battery and gives you a good look and feel.

According to us the Design of the Asus Zenfone 3s Max is Quite good.

The 5.2 inch 2.5D HD screen of 1280*720 display of the Asus Zenfone 3s Max has quite good view from different angles and is good for one hand use.

The touch was responsive and Multi touch also worked well.

We played asphalt 8 with High Quality settings and it worked quite smooth for us without any major lags.

Though the Device Comes with Noughat out of the box with Asus’s own ZenUI on top.It comes with approx 22GB memory free out of 32GB because of the Bloatware that is on the Device expect that everything seems good in the ZenUI.

According to us ZenUI is not meant for the Stock android lovers but is for those who love customised UI on their Android devices.

Hardware and Performance

The Device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB(22GB Available) storage on board coupled with a 1.5 GHz Octa Core Processor is quite Decent for Moderate Usage but not great for hardcore gamers.

The Fingerprint scanner on the Front of the Device worked like charm and was able to scan the fingerprint in one attempt at most times.

The Speakers of the Asus Zenfone 3s Max were Quite Loud and Clear and performed well. The mic was also good and the audio was loud and clear over calls.

The score of the device on Antutu benchmark turned out to be 39574.

This is the main Highlight of the Device the 5000 mAh battery. The Battery of Asus Zenfone 3s Max lasted for approx. 2 days on normal usage but took around 3 hours to charge at 100% with the Standard 5V/2A charger bundled with the Device itself.

The overall performance of the Asus Zenfone 3s Max was quite Decent but at the price of ₹14,999 the device seems a bit expensive for its hardware specifications but the performance of the device backed it well.It is good to use as a daily Driver but is not made for hardcore gamers.

  • Long Lasting Battery
  • Good performance
